Accessing a Course from Populi
Connection for Credentials
This process is for all students. To be able to access course content in the Learning System, you must first connect your student registration in Populi to the class page in the Learning System. This necessary step establishes your credentials as a Student.
Start in Populi
-
Log in to Populi (
https://jdi.populiweb.com
).
-
Select the Student tab
- Go to the course page by clicking on the course name.
- Click the
Assignments
link in the left side menu.
The Assignments page displays.
-
Click on the course name link (above image).
- The "assignment" course link displays (below).
-
Click on the course name link. This will trigger the opening of a new browser tab and your course page to be displayed.
You have now established a student role for this course. The Participant list (see below) will reflect the Student Role next to your name. Those names with "No Roles" have not completed this process and will be strictly limited in what they may access in the course.
