Installing and setting up the Populi app

The Populi app can be used to register for courses, access your Moodle course (s), pay balances, access important links, see the school calendar and more.

Installing the App

To install the app:

ioS (Apple) Devices

  1. Go to the app store on your phone or iPad.
  2. Search for Populi.
  3. Install the Populi (Education) app.
  4. After installing it, it will ask you to enter the domain for your school. Enter JDI.
  5. It will then require you to log in, using your Populi credentials. These are the same credentials as those you use in a web browser.

Android Devices

  1. On your device, go to the Apps section.
  2. Tap Google Play Store Google Play. The app will open.
  3. Search for the Populi app, and then install it.

Logging Into the App

  1. After installing the app from either the App Store or Google Play Store, tap it to open it on your device.
  2. It will ask you to enter the domain for your school. Enter JDI in the field, and tap Continue.
  3. It will then require you to log in, using your Populi credentials. These are the same credentials as those you use in a web browser.
  4. Then tap Log In. The app opens to the Dashboard page.
  5. Click the "hamburger"  icon in the top left to access various app functionality.
